Jocelyn (Joc) Finley is an American-based author of Historical Scottish Romance who lives in Florida with her husband and three children. Finley has been writing for decades and finally decided to start publishing her works of passion and intrigue in late 2025. Most of her stories take place across the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

While many locations around the world have had an impact on the stories she has written, Finley is particularly in love with Scotland and all things Highlander. Both fictionally and historically, especially in the 17th and 18th centuries.

In her spare time, she reads and writes, explores with her children, and homesteads on a little farm. She is not only passionate about travel, family time, and adventures that create lifelong memories with loved ones, but also about capturing the imagination and creating an amazing place to go in every story she writes.

Finley has always had a love for literature, reading, writing, and speaking, and has over twenty years of experience as an educator, with a degree in language and communications. Although she has been writing for decades, she is finally sharing her written works with the world.
